RHUB Communications Adds Hi-Definition VoIP to Award-Winning Web Conferencing and Remote Support Appliances

San Jose, CA, March 11, 2011– RHUB Communications, Inc., the leader in real-time collaboration appliances, today announced the addition of Hi-Definition VOIP capabilities to TurboMeeting, the company’s flagship line of web conferencing and remote support appliances.

With TurboMeeting 4.3’s High-Definition VoIP softphone, users can conduct Internet-based audio conferences with up to 500 participants from both PC and Mac computers. The softphone doubles the voice sampling rate from 8kHz of traditional phones to 16kHz, resulting in greatly improved sound quality due to extended voice frequency coverage. The softphone’s capabilities include echo-cancellation, firewall traversal, automated audio device detection, and auto-reconnection. Users can also record entire web conferences, including audio, screen updates and webcam video. In addition, TurboMeeting 4.3 includes a recording converter, allowing users to convert their recordings to a variety of standard formats, including FLV (Flash), WMV, and AVI.

“Simply put, TurboMeeting 4.3 is the strongest, most feature-rich enterprise real-time collaboration offering available,” said Larry Dorie, CEO of RHUB Communications. “Adding high-definition audio will make our users’ collaboration even more compelling – and all with the complete security control and reliability our appliances are known for.”

In addition to the VoIP functions, TurboMeeting 4.3 extends LDAP integration by allowing user privileges to be defined by user groups, further facilitating TurboMeeting deployment for larger enterprises.
